The Briard Medical Trust was established by the Briard Club of America in 2005 as a separate 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to examining and improving the health status of our dogs. The trust supports and promotes peer-reviewed, non-terminal research into the genetic and acquired diseases that affect the breed. These endeavors are fulfilled through fundraising and the generous donations of Briard fanciers and owners. This research has the potential to yield benefits for all dogs. The trust also develops and provides information about proper care and treatment of Briards to improve individual health and elevate the health status of the breed overall.
Since its founding in 2005, the Briard Medical Trust has donated nearly $55,000 in support of various research studies to benefit the health of our Briards. Your generous contributions make this possible.
